Closing Party – you’ve got to celebrate your milestones!

With our Series A closing party, we did not just celebrate – we marked a genuine milestone: €40 million in funding from Octopus Energy Generation.

Together with our investor, our supporters, and our fantastic team, we looked back on an intense and eventful period. From E-World Energy & Water and the funding round, to welcoming many new colleagues, hosting a thought-provoking policy roundtable with political debate – and, not least, opening up new perspectives for our product and our company. An incredible amount has happened, and that’s exactly what we wanted to recognise on this evening.

And we succeeded: in an atmosphere full of energy, warmth, and genuine appreciation for everything we have built together.

A particularly proud milestone: more than 25,000 smart meters installed. And with this new momentum behind us, we’re now ready to tackle the next stages of our rollout at full speed.

A huge thank you to Octopus Energy Generation for their trust, our shared vision, and the drive to keep pushing the energy transition forward.

And equally: thank you to every single person who has accompanied, supported, and enriched metiundo along the way – whether they were with us that evening or not.

This evening was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people believe in a shared idea.
