Energiewende konkret!
Flexibility - The Data Gold in Real Estate
On 1 July 2026, metiundo will bring together forward-thinking leaders from the energy and real estate sectors in Berlin for the second time. Under the title “Energiewende konkret! Flexibility - The Data Gold in Real Estate”, our annual conference will explore how different energy solutions can be meaningfully deployed in the property sector and how smart meters enable their intelligent interaction.
The use of smart meters holds a largely untapped value: data creates transparency around consumption and generation, forming the basis for identifying and harnessing flexibility within the energy system – opening up new revenue potential for real estate assets.
Together with our speakers, we will take a closer look at the macroeconomic revenue potential of energy transition solutions in multi-family residential buildings and across property portfolios. Alongside our guests and panellists, we will discuss how flexibility can actually be monetised in the energy market and what role smart meters and energy management systems play in this process.
Finally, the conference will also focus on practical implementation: how can such concepts be rolled out across real-world property portfolios, and what conditions need to be in place for this to succeed?
We are pleased to welcome a distinguished line-up of speakers, including Aygül Özkan, Chief Executive of the ZIA – Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V. and former minister; Paul Hock, Managing Director of Green Fusion; Leon Bücher, Team Lead and Manager for Smart Metering at BET Consulting GmbH; and Benjamin Gaidel, Authorised Officer at Rheinwohnungsbau GmbH as well as Sven Böhme, Head of Trading at The Mobility House.
